God will rescue you

So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.

2 Peter 2:9 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/2pe.2.9.NLT

I am the ever living one. I died but behold I am alive for evermore

Trust in me and I shall rescue you

I shall rescue my children from their trials

Not so the wicked for I shall punish them

I shall keep them in bondage till the day of judgement

They will have to give an account for their deeds

The righteous shall abide with me

Not so the wicked they shall be cast where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth

Amen

The 2nd death and Christ

 Let's start here

The scapegoat and the sacrificial lamb are not the same. I know ones a goat and the other a lamb. But besides that they represent two different ideas

A sacrificial lamb is a metaphor for an animal or person sacrificed for the common good

Jesus the sacrificial lamb

He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth.

Isaiah 53:7 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/isa.53.7.NLt

The sacrificial lamb at Passover

The animal you select must be a one-year-old male, either a sheep or a goat, with no defects.

Exodus 12:5 NLT

The Passover lamb was either a sheep or a goat and had to be male and without defect

What is a scapegoat?

scape·goat ˈskāp-ˌgōt. : a goat upon whose head are symbolically placed the sins of the people after which he is sent into the wilderness in the biblical ceremony for Yom Kippur.

and Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the people of Israel, and all their transgressions, all their sins; and he shall put them upon the head of the goat, and send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness.

Leviticus 16:21 RSV

https://bible.com/bible/2020/lev.16.21.RSV

Consider this text

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:6 KJV

https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.53.6.KJV

More proof that God the father laid on God the son the sins of us all but notice that  'him' has a lowercase capital alluding to Jesus the man on the cross and 'LORD' is capitalised and alludes to God the Father.

Jesus is both the sacrificial lamb and the scapegoat

If Jesus is the scapegoat then to fulfill the definition he must then be sent into the wilderness

Jesus was sent to the wilderness by the spirit after his was baptized in water

Consider Christ in the wilderness

And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: and there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

Mark 1:10‭-‬13 KJV

https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.1.10-13.KJv

Jesus was sent to the wilderness but to be tempted by Satan not to carry our sins

Consider these words

“When Aaron has finished purifying the Most Holy Place and the Tabernacle and the altar, he must present the live goat. He will lay both of his hands on the goat’s head and confess over it all the wickedness, rebellion, and sins of the people of Israel. In this way, he will transfer the people’s sins to the head of the goat. Then a man specially chosen for the task will drive the goat into the wilderness. As the goat goes into the wilderness, it will carry all the people’s sins upon itself into a desolate land.Leviticus 16:20‭-‬22 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/lev.16.20-22.NLT

Also consider

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. But he laid his right hand on me and said, “Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last. I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.

Revelation 1:17‭-‬18 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/rev.1.17-18.NLT

Death and the grave are gates to some other place and Jesus has the keys

Consider

“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death.Revelation 2:11 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/rev.2.11.NLT

What does it mean to be victorious

Consider the following

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

1 John 5:4‭-‬5 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/1jn.5.4-5.NLT

Only through faith in Christ can you avoid the 2nd death and your name be written in the lambs book of life

Amen

The day draws near

1 Peter 5:6‭-‬7 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/1pe.5.6-7.NLT

The day when God will honor you draws near

Do you not sense it?

You are my child and I delight in caring for you

Just a little while longer and I will lift you up

So I tell you do not lose heart now

This next season of your life

Amen
