Broken chains

I shall break every chain that binds you

I shall make you known to be men and women of peace

And I shall bless you as you bring peace to a troubled world

You shall bring strife to an end

Glory and praise to the lord I say

Open your ears and your hearts to hear the message I have for you

I promise my words shall change your life

You will move from drudgery to greatness

From loss to gain

From weakness to strength

Great things are in store for you for I have ordained it

Amen

More from Joanne Lamb this time on Genesis 17

Joanne Lamb

Hi Godbless.
So no matter how many times you read your Bible from beginning to end. When you start it again from the beginning, something new always stands out. So I've started from the Old Testament book, Genesis, that I've read before, and I didn’t notice until this time how God changed the names of Abram and Sarai, — to Abraham and Sarah. I thought their names were always— Abraham and Sarah. So that is another reason why we should continue reading our bibles, no matter how many times we have read it before, as we learn something new every time. Yes Amen 🙏.

So I’m going to share Genesis 17:1-16 which says,

” (1)When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am Almighty God; walk before me, and be blameless. (2)And I will make my covenant between me and you and will multiply you exceedingly. (3)Then Abram fell on his face and God talked with him, saying: (4)As for me, behold, my covenant is with you and you shall be a father of many nations. (5)No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for i have made you a father of many nations. (6)I will make you exceedingly fruitful: and I will make nations of you and Kings shall come from you. (7)And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. (8)Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger all the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession and I will be their God. (9)And God said to Abraham as for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations. (10)This is my covenant which you shall keep, between me and you and your descendants after you. Every male child among you shall be circumcised. (11)And you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you. (12)He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised, every male child in your generations, he who is born in your house or bought with money from any foreigner who is not your descendant. (13)He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. (14)And the uncircumcised male child who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin that person shall be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant. (15)Then God said to Abraham, as for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai but Sarah shall be her name. (16)And I will bless her and also give you a son by her, then I will bless her and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her."

Yes Amen 🙏 . So anyway the Lord told Abram, I am Almighty God: walk before me, and be blameless.

And God has the same message for us today. We are to obey the Lord in every respect because he is God, the Lord Almighty. God is the only one with power and God does meet all our needs, so we should want to be obedient to our good Father God who loves us unconditionally, God is so worthy. So anyway God revealed to Abram several specific parts of his covenant.— God would give Abram many descendants.— And many nations would descend from him.— God would maintain his covenant with Abram’s descendants.— And God would give Abram’s descendants the land of Canaan. So anyway God changed Abram to Abraham, (Father of many). Shortly before the promised son was conceived. So from this point on the bible calls him Abraham.

So anyway God required circumcision, as a sign of obedience to him in all matters and as a sign of belonging to his covenant people. Once circumcised there was no turning back, the man would be identified as a Jew forever. As a symbol of” cutting off” the old life of sin, purifying one’s heart, and dedicating oneself to God. Circumcision, more than any other practice, separated God’s people from their heathen neighbors. In Abraham’s day, this was essential to develop the pure worship of the one true God.

Yes, Amen 🙏 Glory And Honor to our God Almighty in Jesus Christ's precious mighty name.

Yes Hallelujah. Thankyou love always Joanne lamb xxx

A plea for help

I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters. I will praise you among your assembled people. Praise the Lord, all you who fear him! Honor him, all you descendants of Jacob! Show him reverence, all you descendants of Israel! For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them, but has listened to their cries for help.

Psalms 22:22‭-‬24 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.22.22-24.NLT

I will answer says the lord almighty

My face is always toward you

With open hand I shall come to you

For I am the God of all creation

My Spirit lives within the you, says the Lord

I have heard your pleas for help

They have come before me like a sweet smelling aroma

Taste and see says the Lord Almighty

Not one of your bones shall be broken

O Lord my God you are more than I have asked for

Let your peace reign within my soul

You are my beloved children says the Lord

I shall answer says the Lord

My angels shall come to you

They shall bring keys to doors locked long ago

Ceilings shall be lifted and you shall soar to the heights

Amen

Hi Godbless. So I’m back to reading from the Old Testament, which is Genesis first book in the bible.-

Learning about our ancestors can help us understand ourselves,'Adam and Eve’ our first ancestors were the highlight of God's creation— the very reason God made the world. But they didn’t always live the way God intended.

And through their mistakes, we can learn important lessons on how to live rightly, as Adam and Eve teach us much about the nature of sin and its consequences. Yes Amen 🙏.

I’m going to share Genesis 2:4-7 that says” —.

(4)This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. (5)Before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth and there was no man to till the ground. (6)But a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. (7)And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.

Yes, Hallelujah, Amen 🙏.

So anyway— "of the dust of the ground” implies that there is nothing fancy about the chemical elements making up our bodies. The body is a lifeless shell until God brings it alive with His "breath of life". And when God removes his life-giving breath, then our bodies once again returns to dust.

Therefore our life and worth come from God’s Spirit. So in reality our worth comes not from our achievements but from God of the universe, who chooses to give us the mysterious and miraculous gift of life, so we should value life’ as God does. There is no other like our good amazing God. Hosanna in the highest, yes Amen 🙏.

Glory to God in Jesus Christ's precious powerful name, yes Hallelujah.

He rescues his children

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken! Calamity will surely destroy the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished. But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

Psalms 34:19‭-‬22 NLT

https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.34.19-22.NLT

I shall deliver you says the lord almighty

Those who trust in me shall be redeemed

Come to me and I shall make you an overcomer

For I have entrusted to you power from on high

I have the power but authority and dominion belong to you

for I gave to you when I first created mankind

My child trust me use your authority and activate my power for I shall honor my promises

Not so the wicked I will cut them off

They shall be cursed

Nothing they plan will come to pass

For I shall frustrate their council

They shall become like fools

I shall bring disaster upon them says the lord

But the righteous will prosper

In my name I shall cause them to be a blessing to the my people

They will flourish in the desert and find peace amid turmoil

For my peace shall rule in their soul

Amen
