Ancient of Days

I heard the Lord say

 

"I am the Ancient of Days 

I am before time and after time 

I spoke all  things into being 

By my Word all things, seen and unseen were created

I shall tarry with men till all things have been fulfilled.

Then the end will come 

But you need not fear 

For I am the everliving one who is without end

I am the one who renews all things and keeps created things in order

You shall live and exist in me 

For I chose you to be with me before time began

There was a time when you were dead, but behold I have given you life 

I am from everlasting to everlasting and I have chosen you to be my friend 

Do not be alarmed when I tell you that all things must end 

This broken world shall end and I shall create a new world fit for my people

I know you!

I know everything about you 

For I formed you in your mothers womb

I have counted the stars in their vast array and know them by name

I am running after you 

chasing after you 

There is nowhere to hide from my presence

I am in the depths and in the heights

I am in the valley and the mountain

I am in the depths of the sea and soar with the eagle.

I am with the blind and the deaf 

for it is I who am their guide

I speak my desires to them

I shall grant favour upon favour to my people 

For I am Father."

Amen. 

 

 

Become Holy

Heb 2:11.

So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.

The family of God is growing everyday 

And our purpose is to share our very selves with a broken world 

For we are the temple of the living God 

He dwells within us 

Our hearts joined with his Heart 

His Spirit within us giving us life

Whom the Son sets free, shall be free indeed.

There is one new creation out of both Jew and Gentile. 

The wall of hostility has been broken down.

Together we are stronger together, than either of us apart 

Together we are one people, under God

Let us speak and act as one kingdom under God 

Both Jew and Non Jew alike share in His glory and peace

The Family of God is One 

He is the Almighty

He is Life and He is Peace

Who does not understand from everything that has been made, that there is, a God in heaven?

Who does not percieve the ever living One?

How can you say there is no God?

When you yourself cry out to Him in times of desperation and great need.

Surely He himself is beside you, when you reach out and call on His Almighty Name

He is not out of reach

Just reach out your hand and you will find Him.

He is ready to meet you with an open heart and an open hand 

Whatever He has is yours 

He has given you His own Spirit by which you cry ABBA Father 

Shall He not come among you and grant favour upon favour.

He the Almighty living God calls you freind

He the Almighty God calls you brother and sister.

And He is both pleased and honoured to do so

Surely it is time to walk the walk of faith and bring yourself into His most Holy Presence

A firm foundation

Jer 17:8.

"They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water.

Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.

Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit."

 

 Dear friend, 

 

As long as you grow up emersed in the crystal clear waters of life 

Your circumstances be they stormy or desert like 

you will not come to harm  

As you journey through life you will remain fruitful and your bows will remain strong and sturdy 

even in the strongest of gales

You will produce a good crop and be fruitful till old age

All of creation will be blessed because of you

For you are my child and you are highly revered among your peers because of the light that shines from you

You are a beacon and a lighthouse for your fellow traveler

The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, will guide you along your path

Follow their light for it shall steer a course to the finish over mountains and through uncharted seas 

To the destination planned for you since before the foundation of the world 

Let Him guide your choices and steer your path

For He knows all things and sees your life laid out before Him like a book 

He knows where your headed and knows how it all ends so you can be sure His commands 

are sure and true.

All about the God of Heaven

Hebrews 1:1

"Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets."

 

He created the Universe through His Almighty Son

Who is prince of peace, and from everlasting to everlasting!

He is the first born among all creation 

He lives for all eternity but died a criminals death on a cross

He tore the veil from top to bottom  

All men who truely believe can now enter the Most hallowed place

He is immortal, invisible, God only wise

And by his continuing powerful Word and command  the Universe is held together 

Who shall not honour His Name!

May the God of wonders open his eyes to the Almighty One!

Seek first His kingdom and rightousness 

And he shall add to you, beyond measure, all things planned for you since the dawn of time 

And this is not a trivial matter 

For He seeks to place back into your hands, the dominion of mankind

He shall grant to you all power and authority

lost to all mankind since the time of the first Adam.

Do not shy away from your destiny or hide your light away 

But put it on display for all to see

Surely, He shall bless you with an abundance 

For that is His good pleasure!

He is working behind the scenes to advance His flock and his followers.

Take him at His word when he says.

" I shall seek after you with all my heart for I am weeping for those who are perishing."

He is forever faithful God and He is within you .

For He saw fit to grant you spiritual life which forever  feeds the soul.

Take good care of your soul for it is the means by which you interact with both the world around you.

(outside the body) and within your very being. 

Does your soul thirst for the things of God?.

Does your mind crave the knowledge of God?.

Do you seek wisdom, council, power and might?.

Who shall not revere His name?.

For He is from everlasting to everlasting.

He shall in these days pour out such a blessing into your life.

That You will not have room enough to contain it.

So fill you cup with the oil of Joy, and let Him speak His Word into you very soul.

Wind and Flame

Hebrews 1:7
Regarding the angels, he says, “He sends his angels like the winds,his servants like flames of fire.”

I heard the Lord say

I am the God who made all things

It is I who fashioned man out of the dust of the earth 

It is I who hung the earth on nothing

It is I who burns with holy fire

surely it time to send the wind and the flame.

I shall blow your enemies away like dust 

Ask me 

I shall not hold back 

Your enemies strength shall be broken

Remember 

My friends are your friends 

And my people you people

Do not be alarmed when I say I am sending wind and fire

for I am Justice and I am fire

I shall burn and scorch away anything in you or close to you that is not of me

Do not be alarmed 

you will lose the witch and the frenemy who have attached themselves to you 

I shall expose your demons 

I shall bring down the evil kings 

I shall smite the prince of darkness and the jezebel who haunts you  

And I shall make you great among your peers

None will be like you 

For you have a friend in God

Your life is about to change there is a new season coming 

I shall send the wind and the fire

Amen  

Come join with me and see the world change

I heard the Lord say 

Hear me my child I am God. Mighty and wonderous.

There is none to compare with me

I cause the sun to shine and moon to circle the earth.

Do not be alarmed when I say that all things will cease

The sun will no longer shine and rains fall no longer.

Seek me and yearn for my salvation 

For I offer it to you without cost

There will come a day when time itself will cease 

There will be no growth 

everything will come to an end 

crops won't be harvested

There will be no more tears

No more pain 

No more sorrow

Grief will come to an end 

Yet, I say to you:  joy will be yours on that day, for I am the God of renewal 

Both heaven and earth will pass away but my kingdom shall remain 

Seek to know me, as I know you!

Every hair on your head is numbered 

I know your inmost parts 

I am not hard to find

Nor do I hide my presence away from you 

Yet you sense my presence like morning mist 

Trust me the Son shall burn away the mist with his light 

He shall turn your mourning to dancing and you grief to Joy 

He is Alpha and Omega  

He is the first and the last

Surely I shall bless you with abundance and plenty 

For I am the God of the Harvest

Come seek me, join your hand with mine 

And I shall guide you into your first and best future 

For all your days were written in my books before the foundation of the world

Do not be afraid for I am pleased to grant you a visitation.

I shall meet you and I shall greet you with open arms 

You have sought me for a long time 

I tell you today is the day of new beginnings

Your situation is about to change 

Be ready for that most hallowed moment when I shall be glad to pour out into your lap 

Riches aplenty from my heavenly kingdom

Be blessed in all you do today 

Amen     

I the Lord of hosts am your healer

 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Here I am. 

I have come to give you life.

Believe in me and watch as I pour out blessing into your life   

Come seek me and I shall make myself known to you 

I shall accomplish all things in proper time 

Trust me to provide in that hallowed moment 

I tell you now is the time to reach out your hand and join it with mine 

As a parent guides a young child across the road and teaches them the highway code 

So, I will teach you the ways of my Kingdom and shall guide you around obstacles

Be of good cheer, for with me, you can be confident, for I know all things: past , present , and future.

I know what lies ahead for you. But remember there is an ancient enemy called the serpent and the devil and satan who wants to make your journey unyeildingly harsh, But fear not for I have overcome him.

I bought back the dominion of man with my own blood. 

And choose to offer back to you without cost.   

You will not be required to climb the mountain before you, for I am the God who casts mountains into the sea.

Do not be alarmed that some obtain their miracle in short time and for you it takes longer 

Some answers come like breeding rabbits!

Did you know elephants take two years from conception to birth?

Abraham and Sarah were O.A.P's before they got their miracle

So keep your faith strong for I am a guiding light and a safe refuge from strong stormy seas.

 Amen       

 

 

 

The God of fulfillment and certainty

 I am the God of fulfillment and certainty

Believe me when I tell you all things shall reach final fulfillment

My Word never fails, for I am trustworthy and you can be sure of my supporting ways

Draw close to me and I shall act 

Do not be alarmed for I am going to move in your midst 

I shall cause you to rise 

I shall cause you to see, your blind eyes will be opened

There shall be fire and sulphur

There shall be rocks and ash

One shall be swept away to my heavenly kingdom but another shall remain 

I am the righteous judge who decides your case but your advocate is working on your behalf.

He is pleading your case before me 

Surely I shall bring to a close the books of heaven 

I shall write the final chapter and the books shall be closed.

Indeed all things have been concluded

Yet I am patient, not wanting any to be destroyed

Surely I shall show kindness and be merciful to all my creation

For I am the God who formed you. 

I know you. Every hair of your head has been numbered. All your parts are known to me

Be amazed at my dealings with men

For my ways are yes and amen 

I shall come among and you together with me you shall judge, even the angels shall come under our rulings and edicts

We shall be as one head among the nations for you shall share my power and govern with foresight and integrity for you have gained the favor of the most high God

New Beginnings

 I am the God of the new day

It is I that cause the sun to rise and set

I cause the grass to grow and the rose to bud

Every day is provided as an opportunity to grow in the knowledge of me

So seek me and my kingdom

Be sure I am more than able to meet your every need

Let those who are lame throw away their mats.

Let the blind put aside their guide dogs and sticks

Let the poor in spirit be glad for the riches of heaven belong to them

Surely I shall be glad to grant you favor from on high

You shall rejoice when I make myself known to you for I delight to commune with my people

See I have stationed angels around you and they have keys that will unlock closed doors and they shall offer them to you

I am the God who makes the crooked straight

I am the God who makes the rain and the snow

I make the desert bloom and grapes ripe for harvesting

See this very day you shall begin the path to greatness

It is I who is sovereign over all

No enemy is able to stand before me every knee shall bow

So offer your life to me and watch my outpouring

Amen

Angels of light with a message

I heard the voice of the Lord. 

 

See, I am sending angels of light with a message of caution for my people

Take heed of my message for the  evil one loves to disguise himself and will decieve many

He will cause you to speak and act out of panic and insecurity 

Believe me, I shall bring serenity and peace amidst turmoil 

The world may collapse around you and many will lose their peace but you come close to me and 

I shall draw close you and indeed shall dwell within you 

learn to think my thoughts and speak my words 

for my thoughts are not your thoughts and my words are not your words 

Man's thoughts and words fail 

but my words remain and are powerful to demolish strongholds and principalites 

speak a message of destruction to that problem that blights your life 

the evil one will try to intimidate and cause fear to rise up within you 

but remain strong for my powerful word dwells within your heart 

Amen

Prophesy equips you to live in a warzone

 1Ti 1:18

Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles.

 

Maybe no one has spoken a prophetic word over you before but all prophetic words equip the hearer to make a good effort in warfare but not against flesh and blood. But against the dark powers against strongholds against principalities and thrones and powers against evil princes and kingships.

You have been given a spiritual arsonal the like of which you have not yet fully explored.

I am the ever living one 

 

It was I who created all things I hold the earths storehouses in my hand and release rain and snow in proper time and season.

 

I cause the grass to grow and the buds to sprout.

 

It is I who made the sun the moon and the stars and hold the universe together with a mere thought.

 

My thoughts about you are these 

 

You are my child who is destined for greatness 

 

You shall speak to the leaders of men and not be held back from gaining influence over the schemes of men for I place both men and women of faith in high and mighty places.

 

You will gain the ear of princes and the kings of earth

 

You will not be lacking in zeal or fire for I inhabit the praises of my people and make them great in power and strength 

 

Though a thousand come to slay you not one hair of your head will be lost for It is I the Lord of heavens armies who will scatter them to the four winds 

 

I shall breathe and cause the winds to blow your enemies away 

 

You will stand tall and proud

 

You will be the first among many who shall spring forth from obscurity 

 

Those who the world conciders nothing will become great men and women of influence.

I shall cause a stirring among the peoples of earth 

 

From darkness I shall call them forth 

 

They will carry my light into the darkness from which they came 

 

Amen 

 

You die twice : The second death

My child I am the LORD OF HEAVENS ARMIES

 

I have already defeated that ancient serpent who prowls around seeking someone to devour 

 

He is a liar, a thief, and a murderer

 

Nothing he says or does is trustworthy.

 

Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world but be transformed in your mind by the power of the Holy Spirit. Prove yourself to be a good workman of the Gospel, for faith without deeds is dead.

See, I have imprisoned the false prophet and the beast in chains in the lake of fire.

where they are in everlasting torment 

Rev 20:10

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

 

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Your life is like an open book before me: everything you have done

Trust me you will see your loved ones again: those who were in Christ when they entered death.

Those who are not in Christ shall be destroyed in  the second death 

Rev 2:11

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Rev 20:6

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Rev 20:14

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 21:8

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

 

You need not be afraid of the second death for it has no power over the those who are being saved:those whose names are in the Lambs book of life.

 

There is a future which can be avoided 

You need not go there

Have you not heard my voice calling in midst of the darkness. 

For my Light shines as a beacon for lost travellers

Have you not seen?

Do you not percieve?

I have defeated death and hell, it is I who took back the keys, and secured man's dominion. It is I who shall release the prisoners from darkness and bondage. The Righteous Judge shall prevail and the Advocate who pleads for you shall be a faithful witness for you. Indeed He stands in the prisoners dock ready to face the judge in your place. And yet more than that He took the punishment that was meant for you.

You need not fear the Righteous Judge for He is full of Peace and Joy and Gladness

He is a man of Peace: He seeks to offer you without limit, a knowing that is is beyond words. The truth shall set you free

He is a man of Joy: His Joy is full of compassion and mercy for you. He does not desire that anyone should be lost.

His heart is Glad: The Righteous Judge Has rendered a Not Guilty verdict over you. He is glad to do so 

He has secured a 'get out of jail free card' The price has been paid for you by His own Son and this from the before the foundation of the earth.( before the earth was made ).

The evil one does not have the monopoly over your life. He is liar and thief and murderer.

As for the Jew as for the Christian

Rom 2:28
For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision.

No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God’s Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.

Have you been baptized in water? Have you been circumcised? Do you read your bible? Attend church every Sunday? Do you preach or have a public ministry?

Why do you do those things? Let me be honest I got baptized in water to please a family member not because I had any understanding of its meaning. I went through the preparation with the pastor and when asked to confess my faith I simply said what would be acceptable. I even came out of the water completely dry. How did THAT happen? Yes, I have a certificate of baptism but it means nothing, it's completely useless to save me.

Now over time, I have understood the true meaning of water baptism I have grown in wisdom and understanding. And developed a deep personal faith. Does my experience invalidate my baptism? No, because mere ritual means nothing. So, from personal experience, I can tell you that following along or playing lip service to the traditions and rituals and belief in the doctrines of men and of the church will not save you.

True spirituality has nothing to do with ritual or external signs: what you wear or what you do or what has been done in the flesh (to your body) circumcision, baptism, and such, 

For me, membership in a church, being the missionary president ( a previous church), and the outward ritual of baptism came long before the inner work of Christ. Romans chapter 6 particularly verse 3 has a lot to say about baptism I will cover that another time. 

I'm not saying traditions are bad in and of themselves I welcome some traditions but they should not replace a lifestyle of obedience to God's Word and the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Indeed the Lord and the Spirit are one and the same. This is the triune God in action.

2Co 3:17
For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  

What matters is the state of the heart! By that, I mean the inner work of Christ for God's kindness leads men to repentance 

Whilst fellowship, bible reading, and singing and such are necessary for growth and social cohesion that alone will not save you.  The church (Body of Christ) is not a social club. You may indeed be well-balanced in the life you lead. Even the ungodly have a form of fellowship, a shared and common worldview, and social cohesion and are well-balanced but they will not inherit eternal life or share in the truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ 

Be sure to lean on Him. 

Ask yourself what religious things you do now or have done, out of mere habit that are of no use? I don't mean disciplines: those things that you have cultivated that are of genuine spiritual benefit to you or those around you. But those things that you do just because of mere tradition and ritual or because that's the way it has always been done. Or in my case, you had no understanding of what the ritual or ceremony meant and were simply performing for the benefit of men

The Good Shepherd

John 10:3
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

John 10:4
After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.

John 10:5
They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice.”

John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.

John 10:14
“I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me,

John 10:27
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

John 14:26
But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

John 15:26
“But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

John 16:12
“There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now.

John 16:13
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

John 16:14
He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.

John 16:15
All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’

I am the Good Shepherd 

My sheep know me and follow me- they listen to my voice

I will run after you when you go astray and get lost.

I will fight wolves and bears to protect you 

See, I have already defeated that old wolf that ancient enemy who came to kill, steal, and destroy. 

Have I not sent the advocate 

He testifies to everything you have heard me say to you for He is the Spirit of Truth 

He speaks of things yet to come and will guide your steps along twisted and stoney roads so that you do not stumble

He guards you with His cloud by day and His fire by night

Come gather under my wings and shelter from the stormy weather 

Surely these days are stormy do you not sense the spirit of the times.

Yet my sheep are safe from the storm in my pasture 

Surely I will both feed and water my sheep. 

Come drink the living water and thirst no more

Surely I shall restore springs and wells that have not flowed or held water since long ago.

Today I shall renew your strength and will mount you on my wings like an eagle her young

I shall teach you to soar upon the rising wind and when you have fully fledged you shall venture into the life I have planned for you since ages past.

You shall be a lighthouse for my light will shine through you into the darkness that surrounds you.

And like a moth to flame will gather the lost, the dispossessed,  the lonely, and the outcast.

Come let us live as one, you shall be as one who has died, yet lives, for my Spirit shall give you life

Holiness and Intimacy

2 Cor 13:14

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

There are three concepts here grace, love, and fellowship.

As believers, we can never forget that our right standing with God which is the cornerstone of our faith comes from the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. The very next concept is the love of God. Aren't you glad that God's love is all-encompassing and unconditional in that we don't have to earn it, because we are created in His image and He loves us as His special creation, and more than that He chose us before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight?

This brings us to the concept of fellowship. My dictionary defines fellowship as a close personal friendship. The Greek word that is translated here is koinonia. Here are some definitions: fellowship, intimacy, partnership, and companionship.

Have you considered what is required to develop a close bond with someone?

As we get to know the Holy Spirit, His likes, His dislikes, The things which upset Him, and the things He does, then intimacy develops, and we develop a closer bond.

There is such a thing as a legal partnership. Defined in contractual law These normally have a list of obligations and duties for both sides and there are consequences for their neglect, misuse, or disobedience.

Ephesians 4:30 

And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.

Ephesians chapter 4 has a lot to say about the way we should live not lying to our neighbor, and making every effort to renew our thinking in regard to developing a Christ-like character. In fact a whole chapter on the way we should live to please God.

I would advise a study of Ephesian chapter 4 in-depth if you want to live a holy life in such a way as to not grieve the Holy Spirit.

The keeper of keys

 I am the Lord who opens and closes doors 

See I have set before you the door to eternal life 

Walk in my steps for I have paved the way 

Trust in my Word and eat the scroll I have set before you.

Does it not taste sweet as honey 

Do not be afraid I shall show you my kingdom in all its glory 

It has always been my plan to visit you

Come into my presence and feel my joy and love 

Where can you hide from me? 

Be amazed I shall pour out astounding abundance into your life 

Search me out and seek me with all your heart

Reach out and take hold of my hand and I shall guide you through crooked and twisted roads

I make high mountains like plains and deserts like green pastures 

See, I shall make salt water as fresh and life shall return where there once was death and decay for I am the resurrection and the life.

As the risen Son shines upon your life. The fog that surrounds you shall clear like the morning mist. The night has ended and a great light has dawned over your life 

I am holy and righteous and completely in love with my creation

Yet there is one who seeks to separate you from me. Do not trust every voice you hear for the enemy loves to whisper lies and untruths in your ear.

I am the God who formed you in your mother's womb 

I stretch out the heavens like a curtain 

I set the planets in their orbits and know the stars by name

My storehouses bring the rain in due season and I hang the Earth upon nothing.

I shall pour out blessings like a torrent  You will barely have enough room and like the widow, the oil shall not run dry 

Amen   

When the Spirit of God hovers, moves, flutters, and shakes

Our hovering, moving, fluttering, and shaking God 

This aspect of God is only described in three verses in the Old Testament 

Gen 1:2
And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Deu 32:11
As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

Jer 23:9
Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.

In Gen 1:1  the Spirit of God was MOVING over the waters 

In Deu 32:11 A mother eagle prepares herself by FLUTTERING over her young 

In Jer 23:9 A prophet becomes drunk in the Spirit: ...all his bones SHOOK...

So what can we learn from these three verses about our hovering, fluttering, and shaking God?

As I was pondering these verses I had an image of warriors in the desert calling in a rescue after a fierce battle and a Chinook helicopter came into land. Can you imagine that? This isn't the gentle hovering of a butterfly or hummingbird? This is the extreme downdraft of a massive military helicopter. Whilst the soldiers are safe, the ground around them is kicked up to such an extent that only when all the loose ground around them had been blown away and the helicopter touched down did they climb aboard the helicopter. And then the massive engines of the chinook kicked up the dust again 

God is hovering over your situation right now. He is preparing to land, to carry you to safety. To shake the ground beneath you to such an extent that all the looseness of the situation or circumstance you are in will be shaken and He will carry you to a new place. It will be as though your natural sense of your surroundings is blotted out and all you will see is the guiding hand of the Lord.

You will lose the sense of the importance of the situation you are in you will be like the proverbial drunk man you won't care what others think, You will be like Superman possessing supernatural strength.

What is God Hiding from you?

Acts 7:55-56.

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand. And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!”

From the account of the stoning of Stephen, we can see that when things get really rough God will shift our gaze toward heaven. And we see Jesus in all His Glory.

I want to encourage you when you are in pain and suffering to ask God to open up the heavens in order that your perception of earthly senses be dulled and your sense of heavenly and spiritual things be heightened.

As Stephen was being stoned he kept his focus on heaven and not his problems 

What is a mantle? What are spiritual weapons?

1Ki 19:19

So he departed thence and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.

A mantle represents an anointing. They come in various types Joy, Servanthood, Power, etc...

Do you know what your mantle is?

What about someone else?

Ask God to show you the various types of mantles that operate in your community.

2Co 10:4

We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

Eph 6:14
Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere

We do not wage war like humans, for we wage war like spiritual children of God.

Truth, Righteousness, peace(Gospel), Faith, Salvation, Sword of the Spirit, Tongues(pray in the spirit). 

Ask God to reveal to you what weapons you hold and ask for those which you do not hold.

Ask Him to teach you how to use them.

Meditate on one of the Names of God

 There are many names of God in the bible choose one and meditate on it.

Concentrate on the attributes it speaks about  

Elohim: Strong Creator God

Ask God to show his wonder-working power as the Creator God 

Meditate on his creation both visible and invisible   

El Nekaomoth: The God that Avenges 

Ask God to show you how he has shown his divine vengeance on enemy spirits that curtail your blessings 

Jehovah Chereb: The Lord the Sword.

Ask God to teach you how to wield his Sword in battle and show you in what circumstance to use it 

Ask him to reveal the specific events in which has operated as The Lord, The Sword in your life 

Jehovah Tsaba: Lord of Hosts

Ask Him to show you how he leads the heavenly host and enable you to perceive their working in your life 

Jehovah Gibbor MlChamah: The Lord Mighty in Battle 

Ask him to show you this aspect of his dealings with his foes and reveal to you a fresh revelation of The Lord, Strong, and Mighty 

Elohim Bashamayim: The Lord of Heaven 

Ask Him to show you His operations as Lord of Heaven both in spirit and in your life 

Jehovah Raah: The Lord our Shepherd

Ask Him to lead and guide you and show you what He has done to bring you to where you are today and let Him steer your thinking and actions to a better future for yourself and your family

I shall provide says the Lord

It has always been my desire to see my people prosper says the Lord

I am Jehovah Jireh and I shall provide.

See, I shall be true to you, for my name is Faithful and True

Throughout all generations, I have provided for my children 

Watch as I pour out blessing upon blessing into your life

See, I shall send my messenger with gifts and provisions in times of need.

My storehouse has everything you need 

Look it's in plain sight. Do you not see? Do you not perceive?

Ask me for bread do I not give it daily as I gave manna in the wilderness.    

The harvest is plentiful for I have sent rain and sun in due season 

As surely as day follows night, I shall provide for my people, it was I who created the heavens in all their vast array. 

It is I who stretches out the heavens and causes the snow and the rain.

You have run like a sprinter but you grow tired and weary, and your resources are depleted

You have exploded out of the starting gate at great speed but now you grow tired 

Surely I shall renew your strength and shall carry you on Eagles wings. I shall shelter you under my wings like the swan, her young.

See I have placed you on the higher path where no wolf can reach for wolves only climb as high as I will.

Learn to live at altitude for I shall carry you on my wings 

And as you grow, you will learn to soar like the Eagles, for I am both the wind and the sun: I cause the rising wind and shimmering haze.

Prophetic mantles and giftings

A lot can be determined about a prophet from their God-given name. Samuel means heard by God He was dedicated to the Lord at birth and raised by anointed people in the temple.

There is a lot to be said about the way in which a child is raised and the anointing and mantle they carry.

 

That said your past experience doesn't determine your present or your future for you are a new creation of God.

1 sam 3:19

As Samuel grew up, the LORD was with him, and everything Samuel said proved to be reliable.

Ask God to be like Samuel in your gifting: that none of your words would fall to the ground unfulfilled and that you will be instrumental in the raising of the holy people of God, especially in the prophetic giftings.

practice the seer gift with a friend or family member

Act 21:10

Several days later a man named Agabus, who also had the gift of prophecy, arrived from Judea. He came over, took Paul’s belt, and bound his own feet and hands with it. Then he said, “The Holy Spirit declares, ‘So shall the owner of this belt be bound by the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem and turned over to the Gentiles.’” When we heard this, we and the local believers all begged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. But he said, “Why all this weeping? You are breaking my heart! I am ready not only to be jailed at Jerusalem but even to die for the sake of the Lord Jesus.” When it was clear that we couldn’t persuade him, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”

Here Agabus had a clear word from God about Paul and it was accurate and all those with him bore witness to both the word and the demonstration. 

Gather with friends or family members and ask the Holy Spirit to show something about them then ask them if it's accurate.

 

The importance of fellowship with prophetic people

1Sa 10:10

When Saul and his servant arrived at Gibeah, they saw a group of prophets coming toward them. Then the Spirit of God came powerfully upon Saul, and he, too, began to prophesy.

1Sa 19:19
When the report reached Saul that David was at Naioth in Ramah, he sent troops to capture him. But when they arrived and saw Samuel leading a group of prophets who were prophesying, the Spirit of God came upon Saul’s men, and they also began to prophesy. When Saul heard what had happened, he sent other troops, but they, too, prophesied! The same thing happened a third time. Finally, Saul himself went to Ramah and arrived at the great well in Secu. “Where are Samuel and David?” he demanded.
“They are at Naioth in Ramah,” someone told him. But on the way to Naioth in Ramah the Spirit of God came even upon Saul, and he, too, began to prophesy all the way to Naioth! He tore off his clothes and lay naked on the ground all day and all night, prophesying in the presence of Samuel. The people who were watching exclaimed, “What? Is even Saul a prophet?”

Notice how spending time in fellowship with prophetic people imparts prophetic gifting. Here we see Saul who was not naturally prophetic prophesy when in the company of prophets 

It was not an isolated incident either. The spirit of God came upon some of Saul's men at Naioth in Ramah. The news went back to Saul and he sent other soldiers and they too began to prophesy. Saul himself traveled to Naioth and asked where Samuel and David were, He went to join them and he too began to prophesy.

When God invites personally

Rev 4:1

Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”

Rev 4:2
And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it.

Rev 11:11

But after three and a half days, God breathed life into them, and they stood up! Terror struck all who were staring at them.

Rev 11:12
Then a loud voice from heaven called to the two prophets, “Come up here!” And they rose to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched.

There are times when God will invite you personally 'Come up here' He said to John. and when God asks you 'What do you see? He is developing your spiritual gifts 

Jer 1:11
Then the LORD said to me, “Look, Jeremiah! What do you see?”And I replied, “I see a branch from an almond tree.”

Amos 7:8

And the LORD said to me, “Amos, what do you see?” I answered, “A plumb line.” And the Lord replied, “I will test my people with this plumb line. I will no longer ignore all their sins.

Meditate on these scriptures and then ask Him to teach you and take you into greater depths of His Spirit and Kingdom.

Companionship with God

 You can be in the same room with someone and barely notice they are there. This happens all time at doctor's surgeries on buses and at supermarket checkouts. When you desire companionship with someone you communicate with intention, and you look at them, when this happens there is an exchange of dialogue, and intimacy develops. 

Make God your companion and whether there is verbal communication or non-verbal communication you are aware of His presence 

Learn what grieves him 

Walk with Him 

Talk with Him 

Pray with Him 

And as you do so you will develop a greater level of friendship and a deeper level of intimacy with the Holy Spirit. 

John 16:13

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

When you make the Holy Spirit your companion He will speak to you at a greater level of intimacy.

Meditate on the Word It is the safest way into the seer dimension

John 10:7 so he explained it to them: “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep.

John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

John 1:1-5

In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

Heb 4:12

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Jesus described himself as a gate that is a way or path He is the only way to the Father.

Meditating on the Word is the safest way to enter the seer dimension because Jesus is the Word made flesh. There is no chance of entering the seer dimension through a demonic backdoor or perverted portal.

When you meditate on the Word you are flooding your soul with light and as God renews your mind to the truth and makes you more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. There is less chance of you being deceived.

There is every likelihood that you will see in your mind's eye the scene played out before you. You may even see an open vision of the bible passage you are meditating on.

Watch and pray

Throughout the scripture we are told to watch and pray. How can we watch if don't first 'see'

this is what Habakkuk said 

Habakkuk 2:1

I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer my complaint.

There is a position in the spirit dimension higher than your usual place.You need to position yourself to a higher vantage point so You can 'see' further into the seer dimensions 

Jesus said in luke 21;34-36

“Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that Day catch you unaware,

Matthew 26:40 

Then he returned to the disciples and found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour? 

Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”

Nobody said it was easy even the disciples of Jesus could not watch one hour. So learn to discipline yourself through comtemplative prayer. Many of us myself included promise and vow to ourselves to prayer everyday but often things get in the way. So set your alarm clock 15 mins earlier than needed. Decide in your heart and mind to do it. But don't condemn yourself if you miss it sometimes.

In Galatians 6:8 it says 

Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit

The spirit man must be strengthened and the carnal man weakened. Every time you speak in tongues or position yourself to experience God's presence through contemplative prayer you strengthen your spirit man.

Surely it's time for the sleeping church to wake up and 'see' demon spirits attached to people and interseed over what they see. 

Surely it's time for seasons of blessing revealed to the seers to be reported to the church to strengthen and edify the body of Christ, his church.

Impartation and activation.

Rom 1:11
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you,

1Co 2:6
Yet among the mature, we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away.

1Co 2:7
But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification.

1Co 2:13
And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.

Eph 4:29
Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear.

Impartation is the receiving of a gift by faith and by that same faith the gift is activated by use.

Let me give a human example if you are seated on an airplane and there is someone sitting opposite you If you dont look you wont see them if you glimpse them through the corner of your eye you wont see much it is only when you look with intention that you notice their clothing, their eye colour, their countenance etc you will be able to see and examine the finer details with intention. 

Or if you buy a car it wont take you anywhere until you sit in the drivers seat and turn the engine on by doing these two things you are positioning yourself to drive and you will move from where you are to your destination.

The reality is that if you recieve a gift you are expected to use it.

So the gift is under the christmas tree, it has your name on it, the time for opening the presents has long since past and you just look at it wanting to open it and use it, but you just sit there staring into space. You know its available and within reach but lack of faith and trust prevents you from reaching out and taking hold of it and using it.

Imagine the concern of the gift giver 

 

Some of you are exactly like this.

I tell you surely the time is now. 

Reach out take hold of your gift and start to use it 

 

For some of you, the gift was imparted years ago, you received it. It's within you but you never used it so it never activated 

Become intentional  about how you use your gifting Surely now is the time to act.   

Impartation and activation must be part of the activity of the church as it was in bible times

Do you have a gift then impartation and activation must be part of your edification and strengthening of the church. Do not wait to be asked, offer it freely. Make the first move yourself, ask God who is asking, and then be bold and talk to them

I will do it says the lord

For the Lord, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb says this, “I am the Lord, Maker of all things, Who alone stretches out the heavens, Who spreads out the earth by Myself, Frustrating the signs and confounding the omens of boasters (false prophets), Making fools out of fortune-tellers, Counteracting the wise And making their knowledge ridiculous, Confirming the word of His servant And carrying out the plan of His messengers.

Who is The Holy One? He is God Almighty

What is He to you? He is your redeemer. He formed you in your mother's womb.

What has He done? He made all things. He stretches out the heavens He spreads the Earth out

His actions against darkness are these : 

He frustrates and confounds false prophets

He makes fools of fortune tellers 

He counteracts the wise making their knowledge ridiculous

His actions for His servants are these:

He confirms the word of His servants.

He carries out their plans. 

Listen to what the Lord says to you

I who made all things shall do great wonders in these days 

I shall frustrate the wisdom of this world  

I shall make their knowledge foolish.

Listen, you who speak words over people in exchange for cash without any knowledge of me. 

You who speak fortunes. Listen to me repent of your divinations. and necromancy.

Come to me. Learn from me. I will transform your very being.

Listen to me servant of the Most High

When my plans become your plans and my words become your words.

I shall accomplish great and wonderful things in these days, just as I have planned.

Are we not of one mind and spirit? 

I tell you as your mind and my mind are joined together 

We have one plan and one purpose.

Everything I have planned shall be accomplished
